Geoff Lyons established Geoff Lyons Solicitors in 1980 after a career in the Australian Army.
For three decades, Geoff’s principal areas of practice apart from Wills and Estates, were Property Development and Business.
However, for more than the last decade Geoff has practised almost exclusively in Wills and Estates.
Geoff has a Masters Degree in Wills and Estates from the College of Law.
Geoff’s vast experience and expertise results in his being able to structure a person’s affairs in the best possible way to achieve a smooth transition of property from one generation to the next, and, if complications do arise, then he has the competence to deal with them so as to achieve the best possible outcome.
Joe Lyons

Joe Lyons heads up the Property Department at Geoff Lyons Solicitors and handles business transactions, leasing, commercial and residential conveyancing (i.e. the sale and purchase of land, houses and units), and retirement villages and nursing home transactions.
Joe also practises in Estate Planning, preparing Wills and Powers of Attorneys and is currently completing his Masters Degree in Wills and Estates with the College of Law.
Andrew Stephenson

Andrew Stephenson joined Geoff Lyons Solicitors in 2019 and practises primarily in the areas of property, commercial and succession law, including estate litigation.
Andrew has a Masters Degree in Wills and Estates with the College of Law. Andrew’s diverse experience means he can best support his clients needs, whether through negotiating better outcomes or through pursuing their interests in litigation.
Karen Carpenter

Karen Carpenter manages the deceased estate department at Geoff Lyons Solicitors.
She is always conscious of the circumstances in which she is involved and deals with clients in a most sensitive and empathetic fashion while ensuring that each deceased estate is administered in a timely and cost effective manner.
Karen has worked in the legal profession for over twenty years and this experience coupled with her competence and initiative ensures that our clients expectations are met and best outcomes are achieved.
